Covid Safety
Though the most intensive phase of the pandemic has passed, Covid remains a risk to many people. I understand that people have different life circumstances, health circumstances and levels of risk tolerance. I know that some people have delicate immune systems, elder parents living in their homes, pregnancies, or other situations that necessitate continued caution.
Iām providing this information so that you can determine whether it is better for you to meet via video or in person with regards to Covid. This information was last updated on 2/1/24.
During the pandemic, I began offering sessions via video. I am now also meeting with people in-person with some guidelines in place.
People are not currently required to mask in our office building, and I do not require that people mask in my office. I am fully vaccinated and stay up-to-date on boosters. If you are coming into the office, you are welcome to mask if that is what fits your situation best. I am also very happy to mask upon request. I run a high quality air purifier during meetings my with clients. I also test each day before I come into the office.
I am not currently asking my clients to test the day of sessions. I do ask that clients not come into the office if they have any cold, flu or Covid symptoms the day of the session. I also ask that clients not come into the office if they have a known, recent Covid exposure. If an in-person client has symptoms the day of session or has a known, recent exposure, we can switch to video temporarily until the symptoms have passed.
If you have any questions regarding Covid risk, please do not hesitate to ask. I am happy to speak with you about this candidly.
If you are interested in meeting for therapy in-person or via video, please use my online scheduling tool to schedule a free, initial 20 minute phone consultation. If you have a question you would like answered before scheduling the initial phone consultation, you can email me here, call me at 415-261-2989 or send me a text.
